I’d like to thank you for stopping by and showing an interest in what this site has to offer.  I don’t make millions from affiliate marketing, make money online for a living, or have all the fancy things you think of when you hear or read about with the affiliate marketing lifestyle.  What I do have, is a strong interest in the idea of how one can use the internet, solely with just his or her computer and make extra income online just with that device.

That concept, or affiliate marketing, has always intrigued me and always found myself exploring into that arena.  There are different avenues of how one can make money online, such as using Craigslist, Ebay, or Etsy, but with affiliate marketing and similarly with Google AdSense,  there is no tangible item or product that you have to deal with.  There’s no product shipping, mailing, manufacturing, or distribution which is what I love about affiliate marketing or using Google AdSense to make extra income online.

In the past, I always took forever to think of a specific niche that I would like to promote and dabbled into specific areas such as fitness or health related categories, but didn’t pursue it enough and wasn’t all that interested.  What I have learned over the past few months especially, is that I needed to start a site on affiliate marketing.  I was somewhat interested on other categorical niche sites, but more so interested in learning about affiliate marketing, reading the inspirational and motivational stories, and believing that it is possible to make a living online if you apply yourself.   So why not start a site that I like talking about, keeps coming back in my head, and where I can help others?

I know it is possible because I have made enough to cover basic expenses and at times my rent which was one of my goals when I started.  The first goal being to make just one dollar.  Most people who go into affiliate marketing don’t even make a buck and for those who are successful with affiliate marketing, you know that great feeling of earning your first buck.

So if you can make a buck, you know you can make more.  My second goal was to make enough for rent, and I have reached that goal at times.  My main, but long-term goal is to do this full time.   Being your own boss, waking up when you want, and having no deadlines sounds great doesn’t it?  It seems far fetched, but you won’t get there until you try right?  That’s why I took the leap in creating this site and I’m committing myself in doing this the right way and hopefully one of my posts one day will read, “I quit my day job!” and you will have been with me during this journey to read about my progress and share my success with you.

As for this site, my goal is to help beginners within the realm affiliate marketing and also Google AdSense since they are usually closely related to affiliate marketing.  Not only will I hope beginners will find this site useful, but hope the intermediate to advanced  users of affiliate marketing will find some pieces of information useful as well.  As for me, I don’t consider myself by no means an expert within affiliate marketing or not necessarily a beginner, but someone who has successful experience in making money with affiliate marketing as a supplement to my income.  You can expect to read about inspirational stories and case studies which I enjoy a lot, as well as some technical tutorials.

My goal here is not to make this a get rich quick site, because that’s not the case.  But to help you earn a little extra money on the side supplementing your current income and if anything else, hopefully help you quit your day job!  It sounds cliché, but it’s true that if you work hard, be honest, and persevere, you will be successful.  Thanks again for reading this and visiting TodaysAffiliateMarketer.com.
